George Arvin promoted to senior product specialist, lattice boom cranes

Lexington, KY (May, 2011)—George Arvin has been promoted to senior product specialist, lattice boom cranes. Frank Snapp, manager, technical product support, made the announcement at Link-Belt's headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.

Arvin has worked for Link-Belt for 24 years. Starting out as a mill operator and moving to crawler crane assembly in manufacturing, he learned crawler cranes from the inside out. He then transferred to service where he’s been for the last 13 years. In this capacity, he has worked closely with Link-Belt distributors and customers in the field, around the world.

“There is no more distinguished crawler crane expert in the industry than George Arvin,” said Snapp. “His technical understanding combined with his hands-on experience makes him a role model at Link-Belt. His leadership will continue to be a critical part of our product support success.”
