Lexington, KY (October 13, 2011)—Jeff Horan has moved to the Link-Belt training department and been promoted to technical trainer. Lyn Leffler, training manager, made the announcement at Link-Belt's headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.

Horan joined Link-Belt in 2008 as a product associate in the product support department learning the mechanical aspects of Link-Belt cranes and working closely with customers in the field. Prior to Link-Belt, Horan did computer-based design in the printed circuit board industry and served as a weapons control technician and force protection specialist in the United States Navy.

"Jeff's experience gives him extensive technical knowledge of our cranes and how customers actually use them," said Leffler. "That understanding—along with impressive communication skills—allows him to train personnel with the information they need to go to work."

Horan lives in Nicholasville, Kentucky, with his wife. He is also head coach of the Eastern Kentucky University hockey team.
